Continued Growth at the Knowledge Park


 Two recent announcements, one by CAE and the other by Research In Motion (RIM) spell good news for the Fredericton region. The two industry leading companies recently confirmed that they will be setting up operations in the Knowledge Park. This means that the park will be expanding to include two additional buildings, 45,000 sq. ft. each, doubling the Park’s current square footage to 180,000 sq. ft. and bringing the total number of buildings to five.

Welcome to the Second Decade of the New Millenium

chair_Susanne AlexanderFredericton is an intriguing city – and when combined with Oromocto, New Maryland, Lincoln, St. Mary’s, it’s all the more appealing.

We are both rural and urban; we work with our minds and our hands; we combine traditional technologies of past decades and past centuries with some of the most contemporary forms.

Some people consider the Greater Fredericton to be the centre of the universe, because of a singular, yet very strange phenomenon: no matter where you go, you will most likely encounter someone who has a connection to this city.

Our population is increasingly diverse, multi-lingual, and growing. Two decades ago, the biggest challenge for publishers located here was to find French-language editors.
